The Yodock Longitudinal Barrier Steel Reinforcement Kit is a connection system for the Yodock Traffic Control System. When used as a longitudinal barrier, the system must be assembled witht the Yodock Longitudinal Barrier Steel Reinforcement Kit. When assembled witht he Yodock Model 2001, Model 2001M, or 2001MB, the system meets NCHRP 350 criteria for a longitudinal barrier. Steady burning lights, or flashing lights can be securely mounted to each unit. The Model 2001 with 350 Rail Kit meets NCHRP 350 TL-3 criteria with only 150 linear feet up to 62 mph. The Model 2001M, or 2001MB with the 350 Rail Kit meets NCHRP 350 TL-2 criterial with only 150 linear feet up to 45 mph.

Longitudinal Channelizing Devices


A Longitudinal Channelizing Device (LCD) presents a continuous delineation of the work zone. The Yodock Traffic Control System, when used as a Longitudinal Channelizing Device, provides a continuous line of delineation that defines the designated path for motorists and pedestrians in temporary work zones as required under NCHRP 350 standards. The Yodock Traffic Control System, when tested to NCHRP 350 criteria for LCDs, was shown to define the travel way to motorists, identify turn areas, or entrances and exits throughout the work zone, and increase the site distance for the motorist. This results in a more fluid traffic flow than the use of traditional Type III barricades, drums and cones.

Type III Barricades

Type III Barricades

A Type III barricade is a device used to temporarily close a roadway while it is under construction or presents a hazard to motorist and traveling public.  The Yodock Type III Kit was developed to be used  in conjunction with the Yodock Model 2001 or 2001MB as a Type III Barricade. The Yodock Type III barricade  was shown under NCHRP 350 crash testing criteria to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas while utilizing the ballasting capabilities of the Yodock barricades. The Yodock Type III baricade has been accepted by the FHWA.

Sign Supports

Temporary Sign Supports

A Temporary sign support is a device used to temporarily provide information to a motorist and the public concerning temporary roadway conditions. Yodock barricades are less susceptible than drums, cones, and traditional delineators to movement by wind, pedestrians or motorists when ballasted with water, thereby eliminating the need for sandbags.
