Testing & Approvals
Yodock® is a recognized manufacturer offering a full line of innovative safety products for the highway and traffic control industries.

Our water filled barriers have been tested, approved, and accepted by the Federal Highway Administration as being National Cooperative Highway Research Program Report 350 (NCHRP Report 350) compliant and meets established federal and state safety guidelines.
The Federal Highway Administration product acceptance is not an approval of a product, but only a public service which indicates that in the FHWA’s opinion, the product meets the industry standards. In some cases the FHWA has accepted products that have not been physically tested. Only physical testing can prove that a product is truly crash worthy. Do not expose yourself to unnecessary liability without knowing if the product you are using is actually proven crash worthy.
When deciding on a ballastable traffic control product, it is important to know that the product has not only been accepted for use, but also tested to the industry crash worthy compliance standards.

* The only Guardian model that has been NCHRP 350 tested is the former Yodock® Model 007. Although other Guardian models have been FHWA accepted, they have not been physically crash tested to NCHRP 350 standards. ** Roadguard has never performed physical crash testing. The FHWA acceptance is based on the Guardian tests, although there are significant design differences.
